FROM OUR TRAINERS

“Boxing is a form of martial arts designed for you to defend yourself using evasive techniques to pacify your opponent without taking too much damage. The key principles I would like to be understood and developed are confidence, discipline and inspiration.

Confidence: You know how to protect/defend yourself. You started off knowing little to nothing, but have now developed and fought on an amateur stage. You have achieved something which you probably never thought that you would accomplish.

Discipline: Turning up on time and having the appropriate equipment. Listening to advice and implementing it. If something goes wrong attempt to correct it without letting it bother or frustrate you.

Inspiration: I want you to inspire your friends and family and be a role model for those going through adversity in any life situation to overcome it. Inspire yourself by implementing the same mind-set that you have in your training progression into your daily life. The mind-set, motivation and determination were not just for these 10 weeks, but for life. Look back at your progression over 10 weeks and think about how the same progression can be implemented to your life.”
